I use PockeTTY. Here's the description for their website, http://www.dejavusoftware.com/pocketty/

Or the freeware http://www.pocketputty.net/
Pocket PUTTY (yep, just like putty on your desktop) Works pretty darn good. No serial, but telnet and ssh, with tunnels. |

I've had problems with putty for SSH (I couldn't use the ctrl button). I'm now using a program from http://www.zatelnet.com/. It works great for me.

I was having problems getting PocketTTY working, even with several emails to them about it. However, thanks for the tip on PocketPUTTY! I use it on my desktop all the time and it was great to see they had a mobile version.
Works great on the Mogul too! Thanks for the input |

Re: Telnet in WM6?
"Can't Download
Unable to look up hostname for (xx.xxx.xxx.xxx), cannot permit download. Due to U.S. government export regulations on software containing strong encryption, we are required by law to ensure that we are not exporting PockeTTY to certain restricted countries. We are unable to determine your country of origin. To obtain a copy of PockeTTY please contact us. " What? Probably something to do with my firewall. My gut sez i won't be buying any software from these people.... Last edited by Phreddo; 04-09-2008 at 09:09 AM. |
