I really appreciate the help. I think I found why it was making the ding. WM has a sound option for events. Settings->sounds and notifications-> events

I had never unchecked this box off ever, but I guess when I would click inside wp it was considered an "event"

The only other time I heard this ding was when I hold down the power to turn off the phone. I guess most folks had already turned this option off.

Now that it is unchecked, no ding. Makes interacting with wp much nicer.

STORYR i have a major question for u!

how is it that ur running wp in spbms2.1 ive been trying for weeks and nothing..if you could at least point me in the right direction..it would be greatly appreciated!!!

You can enable it as a tab within MS 2.1. You cannot have it replace the weather on the Now screen.

Have you looked into the settings for MS? It allows you to change, add, or delete the default tabs. This is where you can add WP.

Does this help or am I not on the same page as you?

Help please?!?!? I installed Weather Panel. Awesome works great. I want to install the Phat Phinger theme, and I have loaded the files as stated in the Read Me file, BUT, where do I go to find the settings area to change the theme? The WP program does not show up in my programs list on my device. What am I missing? And as a newbie, I know I am missing a lot! LOL :) Thanks for any help you can give me!!

oh no were on the same page i knew that much.. i was just trying to see if uve actually got it intergrated.. as in using a diamond theme with the weather tab displaying the wp app..

so heres what ive done.. basically i disabled spb watcher and on the today screen ive got wp... it gets the job done.. but not to my likings thus far..im gonna get rid of spb ms and go back to either rl today or ul ..

You need to run the weather panel plug in from your start\settings\today\items screen, then when the program is running, locate the 'settings' tab and choose your WP theme under 'view' drop down lists

I caught on to Weatherpanel on day 1 or 2 or 3...something like that. I definitely need to revisit this thread. Phatfinger three has always been my fav.
