Have a question about the radar, is there anyway to get a closer view of the radar other then the entire state, something like by county or anything that will show a little more local detail..

Any radar graphic that can be acquired by URL can be configured in WP.

storyr,

You make a great weather interface, I'm a former meterology major, and this interface gives me everything I need to make quick decisions on short term weather events.

I would like to make a donation to support you.
Where can I make a donation?

BTW - I noticed the default radar you use is of lower quality.
I use intellicast.com's animated radar which is a little more refined, I changed the radar image url in your application.
Just a suggestion, maybe for a future release.

Thanks again for making a great product, at no cost.

Megamav, can you give me some advice on what URL to use for the intellicast animated radar? All I can get is an ASP page (http://www.intellicast.com/National/Radar/Current.aspx) which will show me the correct radar (Hartford, CT, US) only after the webpage has my location (Westborough, MA, US) cookied. Is there a better way?

Another work around for animated radar is to update WP every 15 minutes or so. Set your purge time to 24 hours. Then all you have to do is hit the "play" button in your radar image window (of WP) and there you go....animated radar.

Does that make sense?

Coz

Have you tried http://images.intellicast.com/WeatherImg/Radar/hfd.gif? I right-clicked on the image to get the url for the image itself. Follow the instructions in the weather image tutorial for more info...

It's good my friend. How's life on the west side of the mountains? Looks like you've been a bit busy with the update (thanks so much by the way). Does this mean that you are coming back to WP? I thought you were gonna focus more of your efforts on PocketWeather? Either way, thanks again.

Coz
