Re: WeatherPanel Download Index
First post on PPCG have been reading and studying for about a month on best setup for my Touch. Whole bunch of ways to go but I think I will stick with stock ROM until Sprint WM6.1 is released and for now go with commercial programs (after trying many cube configs) anyway here is my WP question:
Storyr, I see you have the Sprint Touch and I think I remember from another site that you are using spb mobile shell (same setup as mine). Are there any tricks I need to know before installing WP? Last time I attempted to install it I was unable to minimize the keyboard when setting up city in the today screen. Using TouchPal keyboard for sms purposes. |
Re: WeatherPanel Download Index
Thank you Storyr for your excellent advice & know-how! Saved me a bunch of grief!

Re: WeatherPanel Download Index
Okay so now I have Mobile Shell and WP playing nice together. Not very fluid but a start. Got rid of the keyboard problem through another hard reset and installing WP first then piling everything on top. I am really liking my Touch thanks to the efforts of E1 here at PPCGeeks. Thanks.

Re: WeatherPanel Download Index
Is there a way to turn off the "ding" when going to other functions?
Also, I can not seem to get the data screens to show precip, temp etc. I am only getting humidity. Any option that I need to change to fix this? Lastly, I have tried to load the traffic cameras, but I get an image that is stating the image is expired. Is there a trick to loading these cameras? |

Re: WeatherPanel Download Index
I have no idea why it's making noise.
From the home screen of PhatPhinger tap on one of the days of the week. That should bring up a screen that contains all the detailed information. I'll try to get a screen shot up here in a bit. What you may try is selecting a different city (e.g., New York) and seeing if it displays all of the information. If that doesn't work then it would be a good idea to reinstall PhatPhinger. late, Coz |
