first off, thanks !!!!! This is what a weather app is supposed to be !!!

i am having 1 problem though, all the icons seem to be in Black and white. almost no color. nowhere near what your screen shots look like. is there a setting I am missing?

Ultimata icons definatley won't work with PhatPhinger. I checked the Stardock download and it definately has Huge icons in it (I use them everyday with no issues) The only thing I can think of is an "installation malfuction" of some sort.

Also, make sure you're using PhatPhinger II or III...

Correct. Stardock is the only animated set in this group...

ok, i think i figured it out....

in the qvga stardock animated icon set, we see icons 1-47 animated. all 47 icons have a .wpa file extention.

in the vga startdock animated icon set, we see only icons 1, 3, 5-16, 23, 25, 37, 43, and 45-47 that animate with the .wpa file extention. that is only 21 icons that will animate. infact, i dont see a #2, #4, #17, #18, #24, #33, #35, #38-#42 icons anywhere in the vga set.

what was happening to me was i was set to see the #32 icon (nice sunny day icon) and since there is only the png in the icon set it didn't animate. later in the wee i show the #30 icon which i know was animated before (partly cloudy) an it wasn't animated either.

so i guess i have everything installed right. it just looks like the vga set is half way animated. anyhow, thanks storyr for you work. it still the best we got.

BTW, i am using the htc diamond which is vga. lol. i may be stupid, but i'm not that stupid.

attached is a set of the qvga stardock animated icons that i use to use, i dont know where i got them but they are definatly different than the vga set. the two look nothing alike. they came in a cab, but i have them ziped up for ya.
