Groovefish Problem

Does anyone using this app. have problems connecting ? Im able to launch the app. but once it gathers the list of songs, the app just hangs on downloading the requested song. Please post a fix. thanks. DB.

I do, and I have the problem with songs failing to start. It will request stream, then load stream key, then go to start song, in which it fails.

PS, not every song does this, but a lot do.

Please know the .cab I posted above has this fix applied to it and should work. You should uninstall Groovefish, then install the new one. It has the same verion number as the one in the original thread at XDA but has been modified with this fix. If that doesn't work, you can try this:


Try this manually:

its the .dll file inside of the zip that tx_jaycee posted in post #43
just download the zip file - unzip it - and replace the Groovefish.Web.dll thats in the Groovefish directory in your phone with the one thats inside the zip file that tx jaycee posted

That is actually the method I used. It made it where it would find songs. and play some of them. Before I applied the fix I couldn't do anything at all with groovefish. I'll try the cab you posted and see if it changes, but i did apply the dll fix.

Yeah, I used this one after the program quit working altogether last night, and it still didn't work.
It worked fine until yesterday, now it keeps failing to get stream. on both my old program and the new one.

After 4 hours on the same issue, i Finally gave up. It just wont work for me. Here are all the steps i took and still nothing. (1) Uninstalled Groovefish and Installed Groovefish 0.3.2... No dice >.<... (2) Unisntalled Groovefish 0.3.2 and re installed the original Groovefish but this time replaced the Groovefish.Web.dll ... Still No Dice >.<... (3) Uninstalled Original Groovefish and re installed Groovefish 0.3.2 and replaced the Groovefish.Web.dll... Now here i was excited because i Finally managed to get the List of songs to re appear and this time it has the Music Note on the Left bottom corner. But Guess what ?.... NO DICE It Hangs on Requesting stream. I tried to Install NETCFv35.wm.armv4i but my TP2 says i have an updated one.(*Note* After every single install or uninstall i soft reset TP2). Very Tired and Discouraged I think ill just wait for developer to post new upgrade ; ;. How ever thank you everyone for your help. Much Appreciated...

Not sure where uou got your .netCF file from, but is it possible, that it may have been the wrong one? Maybe for a Smartphone, and not PocketPC?

I don't know and it sounds like you've spent a good deal of time on it already. So, I wouldn't blame you, if you have given up for now.

I was having the same issue as you before and this is what worked for me.
1. Installed Netframe 3.5 (Got from Google Search) (Installed to Main Memory)
2. Uninstalled Groovefish that I had on TP2 before that didn't work which was newest version.
3. Soft Reset
4. Installed the cab attached here. (Installed to Main Memory)
5. Soft Reset
6. Started program and is working great.

Side Note. The Music Note image is missing on bottom left, but other than that its plays perfect.
