Should work just fine. You may just only need the basic trans tab cab though.

My guess is yes because I am using santod's black & white slider that he made for 1921, but it works great on new 1922. Don't know for sure, but it can always be uninstalled if it isn't compatable. Report back what you find. I am quite enjoying mighty's impact too!

Thanks guys for answering his question. I did however get a PM not too long ago that with the new 1922 version of manila there was a centering glitch in the Contact Editor, but it works fine in the Home Screen. I cannot fix it for the new version of manila because I have a Droid now.

Should the basic fix provide a transparent slide on the new verizon 6.5 rom with sense 2.1? Because it doesn't for me. The mode9 makes the selected tab a gray box and the basic cab does nothing.

After looking at your xml it appears the two manilla files you copy over in the basic cab don't even exist on the phone before the install. Does this mean I have a different version of sense 2.1 than you tested with. The files exist in my directory for the mode9 fix but it grays my selected slider tab

First, let's not get confused between 'Transparent Slider' and the 'Curtain' that is behind it.

Mode9 fix does away with the overlay icons. The 'Basic Slider Icon' is just the tab icon.

There are no XML files in the cab, are you trying to open the cab with Winrar or Winzip. If so, then that is why you are seeing a XML. You need to open it with a cab program in order to properly view the files.


EDIT: After reading your post again, did Verizon bring out a 6.5 rom for the TP2? If so, what version is it?

op, posted this on xda also, but feel free to update, it includes the mode9 slider edits for docs and ebook tabs on the 2.5.1922+ versions of manila.

verizon mr1 wm6.5 is out. Build 21874 with sense 2.1. I already have no curtain. I now want to have the selected tab to be clear and not the gray background color. The same as you first picture in this thread.

Then you want to download and install C07 Basic Trans Slider Icon SenseUI 2.1 NEW

Is that the cab you were referring to in your previous post, that did not work?

Hmmm, since I don't have the TP2 anymore the only thing I can say is the manila file has been changed. I don't know why though.
