Re: [APP][11/21/2009] TouchOne 0.1.3a - (WVGA/VGA/QVGA/WQVGA)

Weekly weather is a widget that someone will have to make. But that will be possible once the SDK is out. Yes, the shortcuts moving around and customizing will work. THis stuff take time to get right, please be patient

Yes in the next release you will be able to add short cuts on the homepage as well as those empty pages when you page through via left or right. The weekly forcast mint have to be a widget that someone else designs not sure if dehx has had time to expand the weather widget that deep. I do know that the next release will also support landscape mode, and people will be able to make their own widets. (facebook, Twitter, IM chat program intergration?, etc...)

Yes, on dehx's website he has some notes as to what the .2a release will contain.

http://www.dehx.net/

He has optimized the widgets for faster response time which should fix the lag issues people have been having.

Re: [APP][11/21/2009] TouchOne 0.1.3a - (WVGA/VGA/QVGA/WQVGA)

Ok.. I got a problem...

My Windows Mobile phone has .NET CF 3.5 baked into the ROM.. and from what I gather, that's what this needs to run. However, no matter what I've tried.. it refuses to run and says that it's either not signed or missing a component. I've eliminated the signed requirement as no other application has that issue, so I can only conclude that it's the .NET CF. However there's no newer version that I can install.

What am I doing wrong?!

Are you getting this error while installing TouchOne, or when you try to launch it? Make sure and grab the sdkcerts.cab from either Exile's post ,or from www.dehx.net.

Hey to each his own man.

Some people love SPB, I just cant fall in love with it.

Were there any problems that you were encountering that made you unable to fall in love with it?

yeah it is definitely a weird issue. i noticed we have the same phone/carrier. do you experience this problem when running touchone from boot.

and just to be clear, this ONLY happens when i have it checked and soft reset, so that it auto boots into touchone. after that if i uncheck it and check it again, the lag remains no matter how many times i try. ONLY if it is unchecked from a soft reset, so that it does not autoboot, and then checked once booted, does it then work flawlessly.

once again, thank you so much for doing all this! i am so stoked to see where this goes, as i know it is going to be a great and powerful ui.
