What is this Thread About?

By itself, HTC Sense/Manila 2.5 is a very nice nice interface......BUT
With the Package from Maxycy at XDA you can take it to the Extreme and actually get a "changeable" manila. Meaning you can change the way the manila looks like from the Manila ITSELF without even a manila or system restart!!!! This Package Also Adds Hotkey's on home screen to change different things. notification buttons on home screen.

What Can I Install This Cab On

How do i Find My Manila Version

You can find your version by sliding to settings......about phone......software info.....manila verison is there....

Will This Cab Mess up My Animated Weater

No! this cab will not affect it at all. it actually puts a invisible trigger in top left corner to activate and deactivate weather on home screen.
the auto weather is still in tact too! meaning if you wake up from lock state OR goto start menu and back to home screen animated weather will start automatically.

What's up with Windows Mobile 6.5.1

Okay, i switched up to Energy ROM 6.5.1 and i LOVE IT! Moving the taskbar to the bottom is a great idea. with this long screen its hard to hold in one hand and reach to the top and i have long fingers... so its just a little bit easier.....

Does the OS Matter for This Cab?
NO! you can use this cab for WinMo 6.5 or 6.5.1
You just need to have manila 2.5, and correct verison cab.
I posted 2 different threads to show what Winmo 6.5 & 6.5.1 looked like.

I can't find where to change the clock in manilla settings. From the home tab settings or the last icon in slider "settings"

There is a invisible hot key for this right under the system clock on taskbar...

I'm using TP with this mod, and so far this has definitely make the homescreen much better. However I do have a question, I think this is related to the fact that i'm using TP instead of TP2, so the screen size affects the layout of everything. I want to see the notification bars when the tf3d tabs are minimized, but somehow when the slider is minimized, so is the notification bar. Just want to see if you know a way around it. Thanks.

I too really like this addition for the applications...I have 2 questions:

1. The NRG Leo ROM had an "Action" button. This cab changed the "Action" left button to "Phone"...I want Action back...how do I do this?

2. Leo allows for the "Stock" home tabs to be used for contacts. When I choose contacts, all I get is the name, no picture...anyway to fix that?

I have noticed that happens to me as well. doesnt happen to me all the time, just sometimes. have not tried anything to fix.

I can confirm that touch pro tweak does allow you to change the soft key back to action.

ok sorry for stupid question, but I hit GO Titanium just to see what it does - how do I put it back now?

The side swiping doesn't seem to work anymore.

The Go Titanium disables TF3D... You need to go to Start>Settings>Today and enable it...

Also...I have some programs installed, that do not show up under start...I can launch them from file explorer...how to I get these to show...or is there another way to launch programs I am unaware of?:confused1:

Ok...I just realized that the program to change the softkeys is under tweaks...I can change it to action now, but it then defaults to phone](*,)

I suspect that it don;t play nice with theis manilla cab...any way to modify the cab to leave it set to action menu?

I made that mistake too. However, the links in my settings stopped functioning so I'm stuck w/o manila. Not sure if they stopped b4 or after maxmanila. this was on energy leo 6.5.1 so maybe just a bug there but i thought it was working earlier.

So i decided it was an opportune time to flash to juicy. lovin it. a little scared to try this again, but would really like some background4all action or maybe just a lite version of maxmanila that works for manila version 19202525. anybody know of anything functioning for this version yet?

I'm sure it's already known by many, but you can use HDWall to produce wallpaper that will display on all tabs and it keeps the weather animation intact. Just thought I'd mention it again, for those that just want background on all tabs.

If I can make a wallpaper for anyone to display on all backgrounds, just let me know. I'd be glad to do one up for you. Just shoot me a PM, so as not to hijack or divert this thread in any way.

Good write up - please try to keep it up to date as NRGZ keeps refining "Leo" personally I use Dusk (gregorz) Theme but it is based on MAX.

I see you have tP2, I have tp. So just so you know. And, as far as I know, you can only change the left one. The right one seems to be dedicated to tf3d 2.5. If the changes does not stick, try changing the left one using the program to something else like...... internet or something, then soft reset. Then you edit it to action and SR. Let me know if this helps.

is there a way to use Sense 2.1 but not use the way text messages are in it.. like kinda keep it the old way? i like the sense but hate how the text messaging set up is

Do you have problem with changing the left one or the right one? I guess my reply was alittle vague. The left one can be changed as I described, but the right one, to my knowledge, cannot be changed. It seems to be dedicated to 2.5's menu button. Hope that clears things up.

How about a change that looses the missed call, and replaces it with Voicemail?...love this cab though, make a HUGE difference in Manilla 2.5 :cheers:

i was thinking the same thing....probably in the works.....

MaxManila just minipulates the manila by giving it commands like it normally would. its almost like scripting, as long as the protocol is followed almost anything can be done.....

New MaxManila 2.6 is in the WORKS!!!!! im sure this will fix the manila version 2.51921 problem and from what i saw they are addeing 12 shortcuts and MORE APPOINTMENTS!!!
