3/3/10 Navizon 3.6.0.3 works on CDMA TP2 without Cell Tower Location

What do you mean you couldn't register. What happened?

Yes Navizon restarts the radio when it tries to find the cdma radio. After it restarts, my connection comes back no problem. I guess the mighty rom doesn't function well after the radio restart. I am using stock verizon rom.

Im using MR War (022610) and I'm going to try this out. When making my rectangle on the site.....How do I want it to coverage? The area where I am closest to or do I try to a much larger area?

EDIT - I can confirm its working on Mighty's latest War 022610. Interested to see how this works.....I'm in my house and used it and havent gone anywhere yet but I've racked up a whopping 3 points so far!! Only 9,997 left to go! lol. Definitely a battery drainer though. In 30 minutes it took off 15% of my battery so you definitely need to keep this charged when driving.

My area is not important with navizon any more. It was an old feature that is unused now. YOu can set it to anything.

I imagine after you drive you will gets tons of points if you live in an urban area.

Looks like this doesn't work with the TP2 for recognizing cell sites. WiFi only.

Unfortunately, I dont. But on the other hand, that may lead to more tower discoveries because I dont think there are many in this area using this program.

Working good on mine. What problems are you having?

correct the cell tower location doesn't work on any newer cdma phones. HTC has changed how they access the radio and navizon has issues with it.

oh man that sucks. So no chance in getting those 15 point rewards then?

No but I have made 85% of my points from wifi. Cell towers are few and far between.
