Hmmm...this might be a verizon issue. Can someone with Sprint verify if this works?

Everything else seems to work flawless, except the comm manager also, but I think I need to download a different task manager also that alows me to shut it off. I get the access denied thing too.

Someone else mentioned this one http://www.dotfred.net/TaskMgr.htm and seems to work fine killing the comm manager.

Oh, so during Reboot, I saw the correct two images ( Speaker and signal ) but they went away.

yeah the default task manager doesnt show everything. I use Advanced Task manager 0.7

That is wierd your signal icon didn't change, it changed fine for me. I don't have the speaker icon though, so it seems as though that is verizon specific. You can still click where the icon should be and get to your sound settings, like we have some special ghost icon in our taskbar

thats kinda what happened to my signal bar icon...I can remove the taskbar cab and it comes back working fine however...odd
