Well crap, the comm manager is still all white even after an uninstall and soft reset.

Should be noted that one needs to shut down the Comm service before trying to install something over it. When not using a custom rom permission issues are a problem.

So get a task manager and stop the comm process then install should be all set

DOh! Thanks for the tip...live and learn. I did a system restore to a few days ago and am in the process of re-building. I'll try shutting down the comm process first.

Good to know. However, when I open Task Manager it shows nothing at all running. I even tried disabling TF3D to no avail. Do I need to get a different task manager to kill the comm manager?

I think we need a 3rd party Task Manager. If so, can anyone recommend a good one to buy? Any good freeware ones?

to my storage card and killed the process and it installed.

Thanks, that worked great.

One thing, I used to be able to go into the comm manager and click on phone and it would take me to the settings so I could switch to roaming only. Now when I tap phone, nothing happens and I have to go through the settings tab at the bottom. Is there anyway around this? I guess it doesn't really matter, just force of habit I'll have to break.

I'll try signing the cab and see if that fixes these issues. Wont have time until tomorrow night. So use this workaround for now.
