well atleast we figured it out, for some reason when i read your problem i remembered pocketshield trying to mess with the dialer

now the fun begins with reinstalling all my cabs/themes/etc.

i wouldnt waste too much time on that, WM 6.5 is just around the corner

Any way to have it display the stae from where the caller is calling from,just like the stock dialer does?

You need a full system backup made right before any changes, that way you can always undo any changes like that.

SPB Backup works well for me.
