I'm getting the same exact thing, a sd card looking white icon with a x on top left hand corner instead of my signal icon. It has been happening to me with all custom taskbars. Anyone have a fix for this? I'm running stock rom by the way.

I don't have a sim card so it might be, the odd thing is that it only shows this icon after installing a custom taskbar other wise it's not there.

I only see this icon when I install any of the tsowen taskbars (the one in this thread and the one in the MightyRom thread). If I don't have any of these jazzed up taskbars installed, the icon isn't there.

I was also getting this icon with the custom taskbars. I inserted the SIM card and it does not show up anymore.
