the curtains are just the slider and just above the clock where the carrier name is on the manila or sense home tab. you would have to use a different user interface like spb mobile shell (which still leave the taskbar), or point ui home (full screen), or winterface (full screen), or any others. just gooel windows mobile ui and you'll find a few

I found this at xda-developers.com on the HD2's post your screen thread..there are like more than 50 people asking for this theme and nobody seems to know..we've tried to contact him but he wont respond his pm's

Hey santod, how are you mod'ing the startbar (for lack of the proper term)? I'd like to change my start button and the graphic around the softkeys words, but I'm unsure how to even search for the tutorials.

Try different .tsk themes for your device. They all seem to have different button configurations, and once you make the bar clear, all you see is the different shaped button, or lack of. Settings > Today. There are more that can be downloaded as well. Let me know if you need any more info then that.

It looks like he is using Max Manila but with some mods to the notification icons and program icons. If you find out where he got the mods I would like to know as well. He has also modified the "hide slider". It is very cool.
