Re: Post Your Touch Pro 2 Home Screen

Here are a few of my screens...I use Ultimate Launch to get multiple screens and pluggins running at the same time. Uses very, very little ram. Check the last screen shot showing the memory usage. It doesn't go below 99 MB after all day use. A thanks to GoodThings2Life for his tweaks and Vegasden for providing the killer wallpaper. Oh and of course storyr and others for keeping weather panel alive.

Re: Post Your Touch Pro 2 Home Screen

Hi all,

Just got my TP2 in the mail today and have been literally tweaking ALL DAY! The forum is great and has been the best source for info that Ive found. Retired my omnia today which was running MS3 and the TF3D is nice but i have a few questions about the clock, call log, and calender. Mostly, why? Dont take me the wrong way im sincerely asking why are they "locked" on the start screen? In reading through the last 20 pages of beautifly done mods i can only imagine how great they would look without that big goofy clock on the screen!!

Is there a way to remove the three items to better display your kids picture or something? I hope im not being ignorant but Id hate to have to load up MS3 again just for the start screen because the rest of the interface is really cool.

Thanks for any input and again I appreciate the forum.

Here are a few cabs that may help you out. They have been around for a long time, and I know that the clock only home screen works because I have used it myself not long ago. The invisible clock should work as well, but if not, I have also posted a completely clear clock (look a couple of pages back and it is the clock I am using) which, if used in conjunction with the clock only home screen will give you clear numbers with no "flip" background.

Re: Post Your Touch Pro 2 Home Screen

Hey Pirish,

I'm figurin' somehow you knew i was a Giants fan! TOTALLY screwed up my start screen! From big black boxes to non functioning hard buttons i got worked!! I guess there is a big difference between Sprint and Verizon start screens.

No big deal man its already fixed up, found some other cabs that got me going again. Weird though, the ones you suggested wouldn't uninstall or be removed from the remove programs list.

I do appreciate the effort for the response bro! Thanks

Re: Post Your Touch Pro 2 Home Screen

Here are a couple more clock choices, with a big thankyou for the help to chuckz07.

The black flip clock (came from XDA a long time ago) was my favorite clock all through a bunch of TouchPro ROM's, different TF setups etc etc. It didn't work in my VZ TP2 however & it was chuck who knew it was because it was cfc compressed & compressed stuff does not work in the TP2.

chuck converted the cab to a format that will work in the TP2 & also did two versions with a clear BG (white & black, the white one is shown here)

If people want either of these, I will post the cabs (or PM me)
