i have gone back to v3 because i can use the highest frequency (787.2mhz) without any lockups or SOD's. But with v4, 4.1, 4.2 (cab) and 4.21 (cab) I have tried a lot of combinations of clock speeds and polling intervals but SOD's every 10 minutes. (even with low frequencies like 600's)

anybody else experience this or have any idea's?

I installed the latest cabbed up one from yesterday. used the 4.21 script. installed the cab to device and script to storage. Ran the oc my device froze restarted device now my start menu/button doesn't work even hardkey. i uninstalled and same dealio

What was your safemode speed/time?
What was your throttle speed?
What was was your boost speed?

That's a bummer. So you did the following?:
1. installed mortscript to your device
2. installed the msm7kcpuspeed cab to your device
3. the oc_auto4.21 cab to your storage card
4. ran the oc_auto4.21_gui shortcut from your startmenu and set it up it all up
5. softreset

I didn't install mortscript because i think NRG's roms have it installed already. I did

it froze my device when i moved the slider immediately. After pulling battery etc my start menu wouldn't work period. even after pulling battery and waiting. Hard reset is the only thing that fixed it.

oh my shift and fn didn't work on my kb when composing messages in text messages too. I thought maybe it was nrg rom because i recently flashed to the latest.. but after hard reset that is ok too.

You didn't do step 4? You shouldn't be messing with the CPU speed from msm7kcpuspeed, instead you should use the oc_auto4.21gui to adjust the speed and such.

no but i'll try again and see! I guess someone else had a problem with the latest script and the latest NRG maxsense.... hrmm maybe that is part of the issue. I'll just hard reset again I guess if it borks again. Since I just did I dont have much reconfigured lol.

Yea you should adjust the speed through OC_Auto4.21_GUI and not mess with msm7kcpuspeed, only use that to display your CPU speed (like a speedometer).

FYI the script basically adjusts the CPU speed using msm7kcpuspeed via registry settings, it's safer because it tells the phone to throttle back the cpu when the screen turns off etc. 604mhz is the "safe" speed to throttle back to.

so i installed and everything worked ok. cranked it at 787mhz? i think what someone in an earlier post from sprint and nrg rom posted. I SOD everytime the screen goes blank.. Tried pulling battery try again same thing. so i hard reset again. Ok done with that for now lol... I had throttle back to stock basically.

thanks for the info. and p.s. to those running nrg's max sense rom the older scripts may work better for you and it already does have mortscript installed.
