thanks
i scaled 128x 128 since it has to be a 64x 64
may extend the red out a little, and widen the rope, leaving very little black left to be really well visible.
might put it on my list of stuff to stumble...i mean...tinker with
i still need a little scaling of the numbers on that flip. i did rig up one of santods analogs just to see how it will look with the flip.
if you think you could add the gold piping around my clock tabs, that would be awesome.
also, i really like santods camo accents, but i think a military theme should have an awesome military might wallpaper, so i am thinking of redoing the accents in the digital camo with about 60% transparent or so, that way we can see some of that jar...ooops....mighty marine force in action on the wallpaper?
what do you think?

I forgot what ROM you are on, but Krowe is working on a flip clock, so after that and when I fix the slider this theme should be about complete. I think I remember someone asking about sounds, but I have no idea about any of that kind of stuff. I'll look everything over, but I think Scenemaker's cammo stuff and analogue clock will have everything else covered.

I usually always end up with NRGZ latest roms. I was the one talking about the sounds as well but those are no problem as I can just use those off of my music folder. Senemakers analog clock and the digital clock you posted in post #71 with the cammo background will look great. Although call me stupid but I really believe that the tire tread on the top and bottom of the slider would be killer, but no big deal if it dosnt make it in there. Thank you all so much for your support and help.

I think that's a good idea, I think the more options the better. I can try adding the gold to your clock tabs. It was looking good so far in that screen shot you posted.

I'm really happy with how this is turning out, and I went back and hit thanks on EVERY post in this thread. Everyone be sure to thank all the people who helped on this, especially the OP for starting it all.

Sometime this week I'll install everything and take some screenshots to post. Or someone else can do it if you have the time.

I can see this thread continuing to grow with the rest of the service themes. I vote for Navy next.

as far as the tire tread on the curtains, i actually did one up that works for the top curtain. but the image for the bottom curtain is a really odd size, and i dont think it can be done...at least not by me and my limited skills.
i will post a pic of the top curtain later so you can see it if you want.

this was posted by santod earlier in the thread and this is what I was referring to as the tire marks around the taskbar.

Clock looks good in that screen shot. I'm not sure If I can put gold rope around them, even If I can it might be too much of the same. I like the way the one looks you have there. If you want me to help with something, just post the files you have and what you want me to try and do. I haven't started messing with clocks yet, so I don't have the manilas separated out.

i will work on it a little more, i am not sure what is bothering me so much about it, i am having trouble getting the numbers scaled and spaced just right.
i have had time to answer a few posts, but really any time to sit and really nerd out and work on anything.
give me a few days, and i think i will have something ready to post.
.

heady, not sure at all how santod did that with the slider curtain, but he is a lot better at it than i am.
the file i have is for the actual curtain under the sliders, i am not sure if there is a file for the area he put those tacks, or it was incorporated into a wallpaper or something like that.
i could always do something like that, incorporate the tracks into a wallpaper with gimp then HDWall it.
hopefully santod will show back up and shower us with some of his eal modding genius.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm still pretty new to this stuff so it takes me forever to do anything. Most of the time I post on here is from my phone or laptop when I only have a couple of minutes.

anyway, damn its been a long day...
let me know if there is anything special we would like done with home accents...i.e. clock back, notification bar et al.
maybe jumping the gun a little bit...but you know...navy and all...not sure how far along the marine theme is...i think we are pretty close, maybe just get everything together cab, zip, rar...something.

this is what it looks like so far. Oh and the other thing I gotta figure out how to get rid of the black bars on the top and bottom. hd walls dont like me

i was thinking, get this marine thing cleaned up a little more, and really get started on the other branches, we should really post this in a dedicated thread, screenshots and downloads in first post, reserve a few more...all that official looking stuff.
not any time soon, this thread is perfect for working on them...but i bet we would get more downloads if we do it up right later.
just my 2 cents...

yup I was thinking when we get the Marine theme done I am going to rename the thread and start moving things over to the first post. I honestly wasnt expecting too much when I started this thread so I didnt reserve any other post. Or do you think I should just start another thread period?

not sure what we should do yet...
lets get wahl and scenemaker and whoever else has been involved and see what they want to do...
besides, probably a little early yet...
but this stuff is coming along
i will be done with the rough of my navy slider today i think if i can find the time to sit down and work on it
personally i think it is coming along
a sample of the icons i am working on...these are people and home
i decided to use rating insignias that just sorta looked like they fit...
what do you guys think?
those are the small icons...
took just the insignia and added transparency to the entire image as the big icons as a test, if it doesnt look right i will use the entire icon enlarged.

like i said, wahl, you do great sliders, so if you have ideas and/or contributions, please dont hesitate...
this is my first slider, so i am sure you can come up with something great...although i did use your blank icon
thanks for that!

as soon as wahl gets back to me about my question...i will cab this up and post it for testing..

I always use maxttm v4.1 to skin the top and bottom bars... sooooo simple. Set the background that you want from top to bottom, install maxttm, open maxttm and go the the wm6.5 tab, check the soft reset after convert then click convert and it will reboot with both taskbars skinned... wallpaper from top to bottom!!! If you get bored with that WP, just change, open maxttm, go to the WM6.5 tab and repeat the process.

I have used maxttm v1.4 for this purpose on numerous roms and have never had an issue. I don't use it for anything else but it works great for full screen wall papers!!!

You can get it from here over at XDA from Maxcy.

Hope this helps.

BTW, Your screen shots look freakin great!!!

ok, slider is pretty good, but for some reason the nav and tvicons display default except when slier is covering them, then slider displays correct icon, but still default icon beneath.
other than that i think i am happy with it.

i am going to post, if someone can fix the nav and tv problem that would be cool.
also, included icons for recent docs, call history, book reader, facebook, ans footprints, none of which i use, so let me know if these work.
and lastly, i use a slider that does not display the icon on the slider itself...so i dont know how they line up on a slider that displays the icon.
let me know how it goes.
do we want a flip clock...more options for analogs?some kind of accent mods?
i am going all clear right now so that i can display that awesome navy fighting power. but open to suggestions.

I actually kinda like that look. The only thing so far about the navy goes is that I know navy is proud of their rates so if you have rates in there that dont pertain to certain sailors then they might have an issue not sure. But overall the Navy theme is coming along well I think. Have we ever figured out how to fix the call history, reader, and facebook tabs in the slider?

Its almost time to start that new thread we were talking about. Once the navy one is completed if you guys want me to cab everything up together let me know. And also as soon as the Navy one is completed I will open the new thread with a spot for all branch's of service.

Rates won't be a problem.

I thought I fixed those tabs in marine slider, and uploaded a Call history/facebook addin cab. I guess I can put them together in one.

i thought about that...then i thought those people can make their own navy slider.
i like the rating insignias, some match occupation almost, some dont at all, the insignia just looked vaguely like the tab i wanted, i.e. mess specialist vaguely resembled a calendar...soooo...there it is.
i did decide to go with ET for settings, even though the machinist mate gear insignia might fit better, but i was an ET, and wanted it there...so it is there.
having trouble thinking of a design for a flip clock, but i will work on it this evening.

I only found one Sprint TV manila missing, but I'm not sure what it does. I've made sliders with Sprint TV and Nav before but can't test them b/c I don't have those tabs. I'm not sure the tv fix will do it, but try it out. I zipped them bc Cab manger is being difficult on my desktop.
