This is because NRG uses a transparent slider...I never updated the other icons that are visible with a non-transparent slider.

Install an EnergyROM Series Rom...or install a transparent slider first..then install my slider.

since this thread has something to do with GTX and slider, i was wondering if you know anything about this.

this has to do with the HTC messaging slider. every tab is black in HTC messaging, can't see the icons when it's highlighted

Well, that's because the transparent slider you are using didn't skin both the sub tab slider and main slider tabs.

Install the attached slider tab instead.
It will skin both of them.
If you have a slider tab installed as a separate cab already, uninstall it and install this one.
Just talking about the tab itself here, not the slider icons.

ok so in this case... i need to install in the following order?

2.5 Trans Slider Tab.cab (2.6 KB, 0 views)
CMYLXGOs.NRG-GTX.Slider.cab (1.69 MB, 397 views)
CMYLXGOs.Transparent.NRG-GTX.Slider.Patch.v3.cab (193.4 KB, 0 views)

Except, do the slider tab last.
If you have not installed a seperate slider tab already and have the other two cabs installed, just install the slider tab now.
I just wasnt sure if the slider tabs you have are from a different cab file, or if they came in the slider cab from Cmylxgo.
If the slider tab that you showed is from your rom, or the GTX slider cab, then just install the slider tab now. Thats all.
