Hope this custom rom is good enough to compete with Windows Phone 7 devices because from the looks of it, they will be released around the same time. Been waiting for months on this. It was much more attractive when it was first shown, but now it just seems like time is their enemy. It feels like it will end up being a toy rom that people will flash to the touch pro2 after they have already moved on to something new as a main phone. I have a excellent custom rom on my HTC Titan that I can't get full use of because it wasn't released until the Touch Pro2 was released. Two whole generations later! If you want this to be a widely successful rom release, you might wanna open up the beta testing to the public so people don't give up hope. This thread has been up since mid-March and only has 7 pages. Pretty weak. If it was open beta testing, this thread would be more popular. It seems like the main people knowledgeable about this project are the people using your other roms. Their thinking about WHEN this rom comes out. Everyone else is thinking it would be cool IF it ever comes out. No disrespect intended. Just my two cents.

Didn't you post this same exact thing over at xda??? Im pretty sure that someone already explained that Max Sense is an app, not a rom. Huge difference. Max sense will be installable on other custom roms... it is a user interface, not an operating system. Bidnadad and many others will cook this UI into their custom roms. However, you will be able to install Max Sense on any(most) rom with manilla 2.5.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

I don't even use the same name at xda for you to know what I've posted and I never threw salt on this project and if you took it that way I feel sorry.... sorry for the lack of effort you took to read and understand my opinion before trying to discredit me.

I just felt like the project has been taking so long with no ETA at all, that some will lose interest and jump ship to another device before it's release(as I read a page or two after my post with one guy that jumped to Android while waiting on this. I'm sure MaxSense will still be installed on his TP2, but as a toy to only work on Wifi or so). That's what I meant by "less attractive". It's not about catching people's attention, it's about keeping it. In no way was I referring to the appearance of the theme.

I'm happy everyone is excited about MaxSense and Big's MaxSenseRom coming closer to the public release and I tried not to offend anyone saying that I wouldn't be surprised if it was released later this year. It's just hard to get my hopes up for anything coming to fruition when it has been near completion before and got scraped completely to start over. I spoke about the rom Big is working on to accompany the app and got my head chewed off by various people saying "MaxSense is a app and not a rom" like I didn't know that sh!t. You sir are lame and trying to better yourself by attempting to school others. I knew there was a rom to accompany the app from following everything that has been said about the project(hence, I said I've been waiting since the first day the thread was created). Max and Big, you must have one of the most loyal followings on here, I swear. They go to bat for you guys all the time. I really wish tech geeks wouldn't be so smug and rude sometimes though.

If I didn't say it Big and Max, thanks for your hard work and time spent. I know it's not a easy job and it takes patience. I wish you all the success in the world. Maybe we'll be hearing about you guys working for HTC someday, no doubt that you guys are the geniuses behind the scenes that help keep this cumminty thriving.

^^No you are correct, and he is...not. MaxSense should be here FAR before WP7 drops and I'm not sure why the two are being compared at all?

EDIT: Just took the time to read the full post. You are not looking at this from the right angles, my friend. You can't even begin to judge this UI as you have never used it, looked better initially? When it didn't do anything? If you are referring to the screenshots Big has been showing, they are his themed version of the UI, I'm sure many many themes will be available. Make sure you know what you're talking about before you criticize someone's pet project like that...
