I uninstalled the alarm background and reinstalled it my black bar went away already. I do see it at the top when I scroll up and have my 16 quick links showing. I see the black bar there but it was like that before. And I see it around the notifications but I am not showing that on my home screen now cause of seeing it at the bottom. I have no black bars around the calendar or drop downs neither so I guess I'm good. And there gone from the date and alarm off. Ok time to play with some of the settings now.. Thanks,

Edit: In the video it shows a picture of a lock in the right corner and says you can edit the lock screen. I don't have a picture of a lock I have 3 bars for the quick links page your on. Maybe it's a setting I should watch the whole video before I ask I guess. Sorry!

Do you have CHTEditor v1.7 installed?
If you do start it then choose lockscreen settings, and then turn on the show lock screen button. and it will show the lock just under the taskbar on the right hand corner.
