Thanks for looking out and trying to help though bud!

I will have to edit the Mode9 file, which is fine.
It just won't always work for everyone, as each person has different mods installed, effecting the Mode9 layout.
However, I should be able to make up a standardized one for anyone running the Co0kie Home Tab Mod, as they should all be the same.

When I get a chance, I will edit and cab that up for you rlw.
I will wanna check first to see if it will effect or interfere with the carrier text mod included in the Mod though.
It's possible that it will, but reapplying the setting in the CHT Editor, may just restore the text without undoing the alarm mod.
I'll see how it goes.

Go to \Application Data\HTC\ProgLauncher folder and delete the *.bmg files there. (It's the icon cache.) Then soft reset.
All icons you have changed will be recreated.

If that doesn't do it, copy your png icon files to folders (preferably to where each app is installed) and then do the icon changes by changing the "Icon" registry entries @ HKLM\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start, Or try a different icon changer program. CSMI or reStart maybe.

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (April 13th version 1.7.0)

Hey Santod....

I searched the thread, but only found the reference to the suggestion of the notification bar. I just noticed today that the notification bar is not actually incrementing from 0 when I receive a Text or email. Is there something I need to enable to have increment other than adding it to the home tab?

Again, Great Job to you and Cookie! (now to find a post by him to Thank!)

cheers

No, there is nothing else you should need to do.
I have not had or seen any issues with the notification bar not working.
That was not an issue that ever came up in all of the testing.
Not sure as to why it would not be for you.
I will keep my eyes and ears open to see if anyone else has this issue, if so, then I will hunt down a solution.

Thanks Santod. I'll try a Clean Storage and try stepping thru the installs. Could be something I have in there conflicting. Will let you know. One other question that just occurred to me....you think its possible Good Mobile Messaging's PIM DB's could be throwing off the process that checks email counts?

Thanks Santod, I will be patiently waiting. I know that you get a lot of requests for mods. That's what happens when you offer some greats mods. lol

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (March 7th version 1.6.1)

INFO regarding upcoming Features!!

~Don't worry there will be at least 3 different unlock systems to choose from

~Notification will be there. Willl try to get twitter, too.

~Quick links in VGA main view and a retractable slider (both VGA and WVGA) are on my to-do list. If it will be for v1.7 or v1.8, I'm not sure yet.
Selectable, of course.

~Adjusting the 3x3 layout is on the to-do list for 1.7.

~Clock Options
