thanks a milli....oh another quick question i doubt it but remember you made the aquamaster clock for me i was wondering will that work with cookie mod or am i fishing?

It will not, but I was thinking of converting it.
Give me a few and I'll do that for you if you'd like.
Did you still have interest in some of the others you asked about, if I get the time? Of course now I would make them work for Co0kie's Home Tab though.

2 pages of 3x3, no text, no text bg, and weather animations turned off gives me sufficient performance. Also, I set my bottom bar to disappear after 4 seconds and I think performance goes up when the slider is hidden.

I am still on 1.7.0 but I have to agree that I am impressed with the speed and performance with the same tweaks you mentioned. Certainly better than an unmodded Sense 2.5

Been searching and cant seem to find anyone else mention they cant hide the clock in landscape. Also, even though hide slider is disabled it hides itself in landscape, not a big deal but there is no way to set the timeout?

A little off topic but assuming Santod will answer and is an authority on this as well, which do you prefer, BG4ALL or HDWalls? I've been playing with both, HDWalls is nice, transparent everywhere, nice quality background but the wallpaper doesn't rotate in landscape mode. the screen does but not the wallpaper. weird.

BG4ALL is nice but image is not HQ. If you crop in photoshop what is the exact dimension to get the best quality.

There is no layout edit option in landscape yet.
We had it in earlier Beta builds of 1.7, but took it out to further improve it first. So you will not find any option to change the layout there just yet.

As for the retractable slider in landscape, that is how it has always been by default.

BG4all will not have the same quality as HDwalls, no.
When I use it, I use 480x800 res. pictures along with MaxTTM4.1 to make the top and bottom bars skinned with the wallpaper, for the fullscreen effect.

There is also the VolDeus shell32.exe hack solution that can be used for HQwallpaper on all tabs and fullscreen wallpaper, with seperate portrait and landscape modes. That is my preference, but a little more delicate, as you can screw up your OS, if done wrong.

Thanks buddy i appreciate your time. Off to search for the VolDeus hack, you laid down the gauntlet so i have to do it now! If there is potential to screw up the OS I gotta try it!

I'm using Mikes latest, any foreseeable probs?

Oh hell yeah! Convert that over def and if you get time the others beacuse I'm prob going to be using cookie tab anyway if you do get the time would you be able to do the flip clock i asked you about also. I'm @ work so i'll be checking back periodically to see if you were able to thanks again friend.

Should be fine, just make sure you copy the right files to your SD card.
