Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (April 13th version 1.7.0.0)

Known issues, to be fixed soon:

-lock + original animations
-weather hitbox with no weather clock
-vga detection in program picker
-page indicator shows up after unlock
-weather condition text on some clock layouts
-resize invisible background on analog 2
-voicemail program link
-animated wallpaper are cut off at the bottom
-audio problems with the locker
-locker: dim option problem
-limit advance menu app bar count by maxappext
-locker: animation on power
-retractable slider when going between level0 and level1

If you are posting regarding any of these issues, we are aware of them already. Thanks.
The lockscreen issues will only get better as we rebuild the .exe for the manila locker code.
Which is what's needed and being done to improve on any problems in the original code.

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (April 13th version 1.7.0.0)

Ok I have a couple questions? I didn't know what this did before but what is the custom operator text? And I saw the new bar on my home tab in the beginning and now it's gone the one with the call history email. Did I somehow hide it? I still see the missed call when I have one. But was just wondering about the bar that had email and text and call histroy.. I'll have to play around with settings cause I see there's two different lock screens and I don't know what the other one does so I'll have to try it. I have something called Santods transparent alarm background I think it's called. I uninstalled it and am going to reinstall it. Is that the one to make the black bar go away around the date and alarm off? Cause my balck bar came back with this mod. I'm gonna finish watching the video about it too. Thanks for the great program. Rose

Edit: Ok sorry I unisntalled and reinstalled this cab as I was typing and now my black bar went away and my call history email text tab is back. Maybe it was hidden cause I had email appointments was that it? This new version is really cool!

Santod, I am having the same issue with your no date background mod. I worked fine with 1.61 but I can't seem to get it to work with this newer version. I am enjoying having this great update to Cookie's home tab. Have one question though. Is there a way to use the Editor to hide appointments on the home page but still allow them on the Manila lock screen? Thanks,

Santod, I forgot to mention that I did reposition the date/alarm line. Would that affect the effectiveness of your mod?

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (April 13th version 1.7.0.0)

Ok I uninstalled the cab and reinstalled and rebooted. My black bar went away I am good now. So do that!

I think I saw on the video where the taskbar can be hidden at the bottom. How do you do that? I need to finish watching the video too I guess. I know you can hide the notifications bar but I don't need it there really since I see the same things at the bottom on the taskbar. But I am wondering what it wouldlook like with the taskbar hidden. I just need to play around with all the new settings and check out the other lock screen.

And what is Operator Text? Sorry for being a pain. I'm gonna finish watching the video here soon cause I also saw where the lock screen can have things on it too now from the home screen. It sounds neat! Thanks, Rose

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (April 13th version 1.7.0.0)

Look for my Co0kie Trans Alarm Back to remove the bars you guys are all talking about. There is another one I have posted for the calendar as well.
You will want both to remove all the backgrounds for the dropdown notifications and the alarm bar.

To add or remove items, use the right softkey options, there are two, one for editing the homescreen layout, and another for editing the lockscreen layout.
Once in edit mode, tap and hold on an empty space on the screen, then select to add whichever items you want to add, remove, or change.
You can also tap and hold on items already showing, to cycle through each option. Also in edit mode, you can go straight to the add/remove options for the layout you are editimg, by selecting the right softkey again, where in edit mode, it now says advanced.

Santod, thanks for the update. Strange thing happened, I now have your mod working but when the home screen loads, the background is there, but then it goes away once the calendar items are updated and shown. On 1.61 the background was gone as soon as the home page loaded. Go figure. It works and that is all that matters. Are you suggesting I uninstall this mod and install the two separate mods. If so, where do I find them? Thanks,

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (April 13th version 1.7.0.0)

I uninstalled the alarm background and reinstalled it my black bar went away already. I do see it at the top when I scroll up and have my 16 quick links showing. I see the black bar there but it was like that before. And I see it around the notifications but I am not showing that on my home screen now cause of seeing it at the bottom. I need to see how to hide the taskbar and then maybe I'll put it back. But yes do we need to unsintall it and install different ones? Wait I just reread your post. I have no black bars around the calendar or drop downs neither so I guess I'm good. And there gone from the date and alarm off. Ok time to play with some of the settings now.. And what about the operator text what is that and where does it show up if you type in text?

Edit: In the video it shows a picture of a lock in the right corner and says you can edit the lock screen. I don't have a picture of a lock I have 3 bars for the quick links page your on. Maybe it's a setting or maybe it shows up if I hide those bars for the quick link page. But my last question is I see where there is 3 unlock styles which is what I was trying to figure out but then what is the difference between enable CHT Lockscreen and defualt? I heard you tell someone to use one or the other and I though I unchecked one checked the other and rebooted and didn't think I noticed the difference. But I did go to the lock style and went from HD to windows to manilla and applied changes and didn't notice anything different. I thought somehow the lock screen could be at the bottom? I don't know I must finish watching the video I guess. Thanks, Rose

Have you installed Cookie Home Editor yet? That is where you will find the lock screen settings and the first option is to show the lock button you are referring to in the taskbar. Be sure to install the newest version.

Do you have CHTEditor v1.7 installed?
If you do start it then choose lockscreen settings, and then turn on the show lock screen button. and it will show the lock just under the taskbar on the right hand corner.
