Cookie Home Tab Mod (April 18th version 1.7.1.0)

Just noting one little graphical issue I see, which could be worse later in the year as the temps rise. On the combo clock, the one with both the flip and the analog clock, the "Mostly Sunny" weather description is very slightly overlapping the 6 in the tempurature degrees of 61. It's not a big deal now, but if the temps do hit 100, it could be a bit messy looking.

Here's a new BG4all for those who would like to try it out.
This should take care of the black bar issue at the bottom of the lockscreen.
If it is working well enough, I will move it to the front page of the thread, as well.

Okay so I have a question. I have this mod as well as the editor, but is there a BG4 All that has both portrait and landscape that works with this mod??? All the ones I have tried only have portrait. I would really like to be able to change my portrait AND landscape to have different wall papers. I do not want to use HDWall because if I want to change them when not at my comp I want to be able to do so without having to create a .cab

Any suggestions?? ANYONE?? SANTOD??

How do you get appointments to show on the lock screen the same way as the home screen? They have this in the video too but I can't get it on mine.

Feedback - there seems to be a lag between when you turn back on your phone to when it goes into the manilla lock screen, maybe a second or so, it shows briefly what was up before. This speed is one thing I miss from lockdevice1.6

On the homescreen, I put in custom operator text and I have the show quicklink tab boxes shown, I wish there was a way to put 2 pixels of space inbetween these two things. I tried faking it with space in the operator text but that didn't work.

Again, this is very impressive work.

Well, I just posted a new BG4all, right above your post, but it does not have seperate modes for portrait and landscape to have different wallpaper.
I do have a working solution for that as well, but it is more complex, then just installing a cab and is done differently, for each different version of WinMo.
But we are looking at ways to incorporate that into the Mod in a more universal way.

On the home page, hit menu > edit lock screen layout > hold the upper corner (by the signal indicator) > hit add new item > check whichever you like

If you dont mind could you tell me your fix. At this point I will try anything. I stayed up until 3 in the morning last night trying to figure it out. I finally gave up and just installed your R6 16 quicklinks cab and said hell with the cookie monster!! I am also using your stealth carbon slider. You have some of the coolest mods ever. Also here was a problem that I ran into last night while messing around with this. I installed MM Blue Satan theme, Then I installed the Cookie and the carbon slider ( I know cookie has one built in that I can use......but I like it centered in the middle and not way off to the left or right) And it gets stuck at the htc loading UNTIL I slide my finger over the screen and then it loads, BUT it loads with the quicklinks showing. I cannot slide it down to show the clock and weather animation. I also tried without the carbon slider and got the same results. I think there is something with the MM Blue Satan theme and Cookie that dont mix well. So I just hard reset and used the R6 with the retractable slider. Just to get the landscape and portrait BG4All to work with cookie will solve a lot of issues for me.

Will elaborate more on my portrait and landscape solution at another time, sorry. As of now, it has been confirmed, by Purian and others, that the Blue Satin Theme is not compatible with this mod at this time, sorry.
