I mentioned in another post, although I guess not here.
That there is a small alignment bug with the modified home tab cab with the small clock.
There will be an updated cab for this soon.
In the mean time, a mode9 file and a lua script would have to be edited for the repositioning of those graphics in landscape only.

The amount of time it will take to edit, it would just be worth everyones time to wait for the updated modified cab instead, as it will work with 1.6.1 Co0kie Mod then.

Santod,

I posted this on Mightys thread...because someone else had the same problem...then I noticed this thread. I have a white box after installing your "side by side" mod. It seems to be where the calendar is on the home page. I am using Mightys latest WAR and cookies 1.6.1. Also when I removed the mod...it messed up Cookies mod. Even after an uninstall and reinstall of cookies mod...the editor said I had a version missmatch. I was using 1.61 of both cookie mod and editor.

If you really wanna back up your current quicklink assignments, it can be done manually.
However the simplest thing, would be to just install the corresponding version # Editor, soft reset and do an export of your settings,
Then uninstall the older Co0kie Mod and Editor and soft reset.

Then install the new Co0kie Mod, soft reset. Then the new Editor, soft reset once again. Then import the saved file you exported in the Editor, to apply your old settings.
This sounds like a lot, but it's not. It only seems so, because you did not already have the last editor installed yet.

SOLD! I did all my current quicklinks in the 1.6 version of the mod. I see on post 4 there's a 1.6 version of the editor but not a 1.6.1 version (or did I miss it?). I assume I install the 1.6 editor now, back up my settings, uninstall 1.6 mod, uninstall 1.6 editor (or not?), soft reset, install 1.6.1, install (which) editor, import settings, soft reset, party?

Big problem for backing up.

CHT 1.60 gives me a version mismatch error when trying to import a file backed up with CHT 1.60 to a CoOkie 1.61 installation.

Reinstalled Cookie 1.60 and CHT restored the file just fine.

I have not seen a version 1.61 of CHT.

Help please.

Uncle Eric

The home screen mod you had installed with the small clock was for version 1.5.4, or for 1.6, not 1.6.1. That is why you had a white square with it installed on top of 1.6.1 and the mismatch error.

Sorry, I had posted 1.6.1 CHT Editor, a page or two back, but have also added it to my post on the first page now too.
If you ever can't find something in one of my threads, you should always check the paperclip, outside the thread, to see if you may have overlooked a cab you need, or if I have just buried it somewhere in the thread.

Sorry, didn't realize it would be so hard to find guys.
Sorry for the confusion. As mentioned, if you can't find a cab in a thread, and you think it is in there, check the paperclip for all attached files.

Thanks bud, but it was already buried in here once, lol.
I have also added to first page, as mentioned.
Thanks for helping out. :)

Here is the updated SIDE BY SIDE add on for 1.6.1
This should only be installed after installing Co0kie Home Tab 1.6.1
This may have a white appointment background bug, on some roms, and should be getting fixed soon.

That is actually why I prefer and suggest, just using the standard rom.
I don't like being stuck with a mod like this in one version only.
As it is strongly being developed and improved upon.
The only clean way to do it, is to install his stripped rom, with no Co0kie and no MaxM cooked in.
Then you can install and update as you please.
Otherwise wait for the next Co0kie rom from NRGz, which will have 1.6.1 in it.
By then, 1.7 should be almost ready. So, as you can see, this is why I prefer to install it manually, rather then have the cooked in version.

You can try installing 1.6.1 over top of the cooked in version, but I think you will have problems, especially trying to overwrite the cooked in Editor too. So, I do not suggest or support that approach.
