Yeah, uninstall all 1.5.4 cabs. Then soft reset. Then install Co0kie 1.6, soft reset.
Install CHT Editor 1.6, soft reset. Then install this mod and soft reset once more.

Version 1.6.1 released.


Bug fixes, small additions and changes:

-[new] hide and auto hide appointments
-[new] added more appointments indicator for main view
-[fixed] call history related bugs (rounded edge, overlap)
-[fixed] date button now always shows month view in calendar tab
-[fixed] removed side scroll animation from animation level 0
-[fixed] corrected quick links scrolling in landscape

Settings changes:
The DynamicNotifications setting has been thrown out - in it's place there are:

Co0kie.ShowCallHistory
0 - always hide
1 - always show
2 - auto hide/show (default)

Co0kie.ShowAppointments
0 - always hide -- don't show any appointments or calendar text in main view
1 - always show (default)
2 - auto hide/show -- show appointments, but hide calendar text

Co0kie.AutoHideQuickLinks --- if more than 2 appointments
0 or 1 --- 0 default


Notes on some changes:

-[new] added more appointments indicator for main view
Until now there was always a small arrow below the quick links in main view. It pointed up or down but was mostly useless.
I've changed its function: From now on this arrow will only be shown if there are more appointments then can fit in main view. This will let you know that there are more appointments to be viewed by swiping down.

nice..now if I can get it all to work..on X's 3/5/2010 2.5 Rom the I could not get all my appts to show on page one..I am using some other mods so maybe something else broke it..strange because yesterday with the 2 Mighty edit cookie cabs I could see everything perfect..trying all the 1.6.1 stuffs now..thanks

The edited Home Tab cabs that I posted and Mike posted, allowed for more appointments to show, without swiping the links down.
That was because of the smaller clock.
1.6.1 will allow 5 appointments to show on the Home Tab.

will you be adding a home page layout mod 1.6.1 ( I used the last version 1.6 and it had the small clock, weather perfect but all my appts were white)

There may be an update for 1.6.1 coming also.
There are modified scripts in that mod, which will be incompatible with 1.6.1. It will also cause the editor to see it as 1.6 again, which will cause issues.
If you must use the small clock layout, either stick with 6.1 for the moment, or wait for an update for 1.6.1.

santod, thanks for keeping us all in the loop. a question bout the clock array planned 4 future release...will that be just a option (can have or choose not to) or is it manditory. i personally dont like the clock array setup, double clock, small clock, etc. but rather like it the way it is. and honestly thats why i never use max manila so i really hope cookies hometab stays on this path rather then head towards max manila.

also maybe i dont understand your previous post...is there gonna be an update for 1.6.1? that just came out. will there be any reason to wait for that update, if i only use the hometab and no other add-on cabs that you provide?

The clock options will not be the same as Max Manila, they will be their own thing and will be configurable or selectable.
I will give more detail on that soon.

The update referred to above is for the modified version, with the samller clock and side by side clock and weather.
Not an update for the actual Co0kie Mod itself.

The next update planned for Co0kie Mod is 1.7, and is at least a week or two away.

Don't worry too much about it becoming like Max Manila, as that is not where it is headed, IMO.
Anyhow, I wouldn't wait for anything, use 1.6.1, you will like it! :)
