Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (48 links with slidding panels and more)
I'm on NRG's 1/25, 23518 (2.5.1922....) ROM. I've tried this mod on this one and a few of NRG's more recent releases. It works brilliantly but on the tabs other than "home" there is a white block in the upper left hand corner of the screen. I suspect it has something to do with a cooked in version of BG4ALL on most of his recent ROMS. Has anyone else dealt with this? Is there a known resolution for this issue? Thanks.

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (48 links with slidding panels and more)
The white block is indeed due to the cooked in bg4all in that rom. This is why NRGz has made a rom with the Co0kie Mod, cooked in also. If you want to use that mod on NRGz rom, you should try that one instead. I have also made a cab to remove that version of bg4all from the rom you are using. Then you could install my compatible version of bg4all. I am however, mobile right now and cant post it.

Santod, thanks a ton for the info. I'm on an older NRG Rom as the newer ones have a calendar glitch (unable to edit recurring appointments) so I've been installing this tremendous mod separately. I'll fish around NRG's thread to find the bg4all removal .cab. If I can't find it, I may bug you later. Thanks again.

I'm very impressed with CookieMonster's mod. I was dismayed that MaxManila 3.0 doesn't work on the new MightyROM Impact, so at first I was using your 16 Quick Links cab. But Cookie's mod has so many nice (and useful) features, it's now my home page mod of choice. =D> Regarding your clock array mods, I prefer using analog clocks to flip clocks, so I'm definitely looking forward to what you come up with for CM's mod. I'm sure it's not easy, but I'm also sure you're up to the challenge. |

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (48 links with slidding panels and more)
Ok I have searched in a few threads for this and couldn't find much mention of this weird occurance. If it is here..well search for multiple variations didn't work.
The HTC shortcuts ie Peep, Music, People, and calendar disappear from the start menu and from the programs list after Cookie is installed. Even if the reg for them (hkcu/software/htc/manila "Isenableshortcut" value is 1 which allows them to show, they do not. I have tried this on a ROM that had them enabled I installed cookie cab and they were gone, removed cookie and they were back after the SR. Also tried to enable them on a ROM with cookie cooked in.... now go, even though I changed the reg back to 0 SR, then changed it back to 1 and SR.... I tried this a few times with a variety of ROMs to be sure it was Cookie that was the only factor. I like setting two of those in my quicklinks and could not do it with cookie enabled. I am sorta OCD and feel weird without them now..... Any ideas????????

@ Whotann,
It's a known issue. It will be fixed in v1.6. |

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (48 links with slidding panels and more)
Santod, thanks again in advance for providing a way to remove the BG4ALL cooked into NRG's 23518, 2.5.1922... ROM. I figure if you post it in this thread it could be helpful for a ton of people experiencing the same conflict.

Re: Cookie Home Tab Mod (48 links with slidding panels and more)
I can still post it this evening, if needed, but I strongly suggest that you just download NRGz new standard rom, as it now has my Co0kie compatible Bg4all cooked in instead. Check it out.
