The background is changable for the lock screen, and it goes full screen, hiding the taskbar, just showing the signal meters on top of the wallpaper. The slider bar can be skinned, but not as easily as changing the background image.

do you mean backround as in wallpaper or backround of the slider itself? as in what the slider actually 'sitting' on so 2 say. i was refereing 2 the second part...

if you mean as in wallpaper i thought the homescreen wallpaper just transfered over? if that makes any sense

its prolly me not understanding the process... i noticed your ss has the notifications above the calender...is that part of the process or another mod?

maybe ill wait to see b4 i ask any more questions...

Thanks. What I was saying is that you can select a seperate wallpaper image for the lock screen itself.
Instead of using your existing wallpaper.
The slider background box itself is skinnable, but is not in the programs options.
It's something that can be done though.

The notifications are part of the lockscreen mod!
They do not remain on your today screen, once you unlock.
I don't mind the questions bud.

ok now its making sense... i thought the slider, lock thing, once activated, basicly just layed over top the home screen

i wish those notifications could be used on home screen aswell...w/out max manila

Here you can see the lock switch at the top right of the home screen.
It can also be skinned or made to be completely transparent(invisible), as well.
It also auto locks when you turn off the screen back light, of course.

Thanks guys and everyone else for their feedback on this.
It sounds as if this is something I should complete and share.
As it seems there is a bit of interest in having this alternative for the lockscreen.
So I will focus on getting the last little bug out and try and get this posted for everyone, very soon!
