Be sure to un-install any custom taskbar that you have previously installed prior to installing this one!

Re: Dusk Misc. Add-On's [1/27/2010] - NEW Taskbar/FIXED 18 Button Action Screen

When dealing with an image in Photoshop, it is important to save OFTEN! Lost a 40+ layer file today because it crashed when I tried to go full screen! Guess I have to do Swype landscape, take 2.

Dude, that really sucks but you'll never make that mistake again.

I have used PS for years (I used to have a Pro Photography business) & I learned that lesson the hard way myself years back.

PS layers get REAL BIG, REAL QUICK & when the scratch disc's fill up you are always in danger of it freezing up (especially if you don't have a "super computer") Those huge multi-layered PS files can bring just about any computer to its knees real quick. I use a quad-core setup with 4 gigs of RAM & four 15,000 RPM SCSI hard drives for PS work & even that's barely enough at times.......

just my 2 cents.....photoshop is NOT that bad, but you are right, it needs the hardware to support it....

i use Win7x64 with 64bit photoshopCS4.....QuadCore 9400...8GB DD2.....3MB SATA Drives......i rarely even see a hiccup with photoshop....

i also use my computer are work which is win7 64bit dual core with 6GB of RAM and it is considerably slower.... hell i can go into bridge with my quad core and load 50 images into photoshop layer in less than a minute or two. on the dual core it takes around 10 minutes...... BIG Difference when your impatient like i am.......

Well I guess I don't feel so bad making stuff people like with my 1.86Ghz single core Celeron processor, Vista Home Premium, and 2Gb Ram on my $400 Toshiba laptop.
