Remember the good old days of the blinking cursor and the awesome Double Dense 5.25" literally, "floppy" disks?
No? How about the time you spend trying to make some .sys to load only to find out you did have the HIMEM loaded? Config.sys and Autoexec.bat has never been so much fun.
For us the old timers, I made a DOS-style boot up animation for startup and the Windows NT 3 splash screen for logo.
Just to show them kids, you know.
Attached are zipped files. Just overwrite them to your Windows directory. As for the animation, check under HKLM\Software\HTC\HTCAnimation and make changes to either the file name or the registry key in order to display the GIF correctly.
