Re: snes & nes emulators for tp2 ?

ummm...I stand corrected. But honestly i play Genesis ROMs waaaay more than i would SNES. Road Rash 3? ? Um YEAH!!! BTW If you are using SmartGear on a factory ROM (Stock Sprint OS or whatever) you probably have issues with Genesis games being laggy if music is turned on at all, even on low rates. I flashed to MightyRom a couple days ago and it runs SmartGear really really smooth with full rate music. lovin it. |

Re: snes & nes emulators for tp2 ?
dude I've been playing snes games with morphgear's emulator now for a few days. I love it. Donky Kong, Super Mario World, F-ZERO! I can even play mortal kombat 2.

Yeah Morphgear works pretty well. There is also a simulated multi touch, on screen controller skin for it available. Looks like this. Also included the button map diagram, to show where multi touch points are.

Re: snes & nes emulators for tp2 ?
Some games the fps is too low to play, like super mario world 2 (which I had never even heard of to be honest, you ride around on that dragon thing the entire time.) But most games are very playable. For instance, I play the shit out of some donkey kong 1 2 AND 3! lol
There's also a Sega Genesis pack along with a gameboy one I believe. I can play sonic and knuckles on the sega one but almost every other game simply fails to load. You can play in fullscreen too which makes it better than PocketNES or PocketSNES. Set the orientation to north, screen size to "Window size" and then uncheck the "virtual gamepad" or whatever, then when you load a game you press the screen and you're good. This helped me a lot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...08&postcount=9 It was designed for the HD2 since TP2 doesn't have multitouch. |

Re: snes & nes emulators for tp2 ?
i was just browseing through and saw this thread.... if anyone still needs help setting up their morphgear/roms/keypad for htc tp2 to work you can throw me off a email at throatxpunch@aim.com i have the optimum settings down for landscape view as well, and also a program called kforrapheal that you can run while running the emulator. it allows you to assign actual keys from your pullout keypad so you dont have to use skins and that annoying virtual pad instead and get that 229 error message when you try to set the inputs.
