there is a method i have tried and it seems to work for both the 16 and the 20 quick links on the home screen:

download "HTCSense_1920_VGA_12_Quicklinks_fixed_layer1_by_Ki sja"
i know it says "12 quick links" but somehow it still works!
the link takes you to xda and explains how to use it.

as far as the txting goes, i find that setting one of the quick links to "Messaging" works for me!

I loaded the NRGZ max cooked in. BUt... I'd like to have the background your showing on page 1 of your post. Can you post that or PM it to me? Love it!

Also on top left it takes me to contacts not toogle weather. Got this on 2.6 installed on standalone NRGZ & Cooked in version.

Sorry, background was exclusive to creator of MaxManila. do not have it....sorry

the new shortcuts were updated to that. the weather toggle is now under maxmanila settings...... not sure why, but thats what happened...

Soooo. Only way to get that kewl background is to load nrgz without maxmanila & reload 2.6 max sep? Bummer..... It happens to be one of my fav shades of blue

Don't think so.... All MaxManila does it change some manila files around. i dont see how that could affect the battery, but i could be wrong.

It has on mine. BUT.... The short cuts and other things make it too sweet not to have. It's the missing parts HTC and/or Microsoft should have done.

I personally love the look/functionality of MaxManila but battery life has been bad on my TP2. This has been my first SenseUI 2.5 ROM so that could be the reason for bad battery life (when compared to Sense UI 2.1). I will give it a few charge/discharge cycles. I don't know if I can go back to 2.1 after experiencing the awesomeness of MaxManila

Hehehehe There's NO going back once you have a taste.

WHile I miss Landscape. It is being worked on. So I would imagine by the time NRGZ & Max Manila Work sooo sweet Lamdscape will make a comeback. Landscape viewing for web & other stuff is almost mandatory givin ease of reading etc especially for people with dissabilities.

I had a minor issue with this. If you turn notifications button off, I get the calls missed & appointments. I'm using Energy's 28014 rom. Turning off notifications is opk for me because you still get notifications in the task bar up top.
