I think the background for all tabs you listed isn't compatible with manila 2.5 versions that have the weather on the homescreen (ie the 1920 vga port by akeo). You can find a working mod with weather animation toggle for akeo's 1920 port here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=95134

Also, many of these look like they are made for WVGA. Do you know what one's work with VGA? I installed Max Manila 2.5 just to see what it did and it makes the clock bigger and messes up other things since it's for WVGA.

I suggest that you install Max Manila 2.51919xxx Ultimate - v2.2.cab on post #5

This is what i use with NRG Manila 2.5 ROM

This mod has a few option to play with like hiding the tab icons.

Yeah Root, if they just go to the Max Manila I have posted then they can get almost your same screen without your mods you did to yours.

True, but without custom fonts and colors.
Just getting started on 2.5 mods.
Manila on 2.5 is a garbled up mess for the most part. lol

Here is my custom start. It is intended for those running NRG ROM's and are running versions where the start menu is at the top. It says NRGAddict. Use TC and copy it into windows. Will make more upon request.
