I think quite a bit is going on in TP forums, but it's all 2.5. I haven't even checked into 2.5 Pano yet cuz of my not being able to get sms right w/2.5. So in the meantime I'm rockin' 2.1 again which means I'll be stopping by now and again.

yeah i am lurking too. waiting for the messaging and landscape to start working in sense 2.5 before I make the jump... so I am still on 2.1 w/ the pano background.

For me, I consider 2.5 a waste of my time. Since I'm not a developer, I too have to wait for the fixes. So I don't think I'll be attempting it any more until someone says "Hey, it fully works!".

im waiting on droid to be rooted. and my GF will always be rocking 2.1 unless she wants a broken weather thing that doesn't work... but on android i have the sense clock and damn it looks nice. :)

I went moto droid its a pretty nice phone. I especially love the constant updates and fixes for apps etc that wm kind of lacked. XD I was originally going to get a TP2 but android seemed bit more promising.

Ive been considering getting an android phone the past few days. Is it as able to be modified as WM?

It has "home replacements" which can change icons and looks of it but can't be flashed with roms etc til its "rooted" and so far I don't think droid is but think g1, hero etc are. So depends on what customibility you want. Beautiful widgets gives the sense ui clock/weather and there is almost a app to replace all wm apps

plus my GF has my touch pro now and she loves it for now... had some issues with flashing a radio the other day but now its all fixed shes a happy new ppc owner. :evil4: she also wants to learn to make panos :twisted:
