Panoramic BGs [NSFW] {Tutorial/Cabs/Requests}

FYI, it is pretty easy to do this instead of hounding zombie. and it is a bit addictive, too all you need to do is resize/crop an image you like to 1536x512, then trisect it into 3 images (each 512x512 PNG's). after this download any panoramic background files (I use http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...2&d=1252473556 ) and open it's folder up in cfc_gui. then just replace the files with the png's you have created. after that click tools>cfc compress and it will automatically save the files. once you have your modified manila files you can cab them up or make them into an EXT, or just copy them directly to the \windows folder on your phone..

so otherwise, those bone thugs images are just too small to be good quality paoramic bg's, must be able to look good at 1536x512, where the second bone one is only 500x313 - it can be stretched, but quality will be sacrificed.

I was able to get the panoramic view to work perfectly on nrgz latest 6/20 rom. All i did was install the cmylxgos.panoramic.pimp.2.0.wallpaper-manilla 2.1. And then I installed the las vegas cab over the top of it. It seems to be working flawlessly, I can view all the tabs and it moves whenever I scroll through.

I do not have any of the other pimp packages installed.

i have no clue how to do this, i am very new to this stuff and it looks awesome im just stupid or something.

raid is right those images are too small to be blown up 3x and no i just flashed NRG to see if the pimp package or if the other way would work neither did and re-flashed to something else within 5minutes. ill just live with psyki and silence roms till i have more time to play with NRGs.

I'm on the newest NRG release and it works for me...

Trying going to Manila Settings>Wallpaper... When it asks you if you want to use the Default wallpaper say yes... Do a soft reset and the preform the cab installs as I detailed previously...

It will work on NRG it just a matter of find out the right combination of steps...

Here it is, tested and everything. Used the second image. Not bad for a first try.

It's true, especially the second part. It may take a few different tries but that's what I do, and it works everytime on the NRG rom.
