z0mbiexx or anyone that knows how to cook... I have been trying to cook a couple of these pano cabs into my ROM, but with no success. Anyone know how to cook 'em? The usual transformation of cabs to EXT apparently is not the way to go with pano cabs.

You're best bet is to make an OEM using OEMizer and convert it to an EXT.
Its usually included in whatever kitchen your using. Its pretty easy to make one, but if you need more help, let me know.

Here are a few of the ones that I made so you can see what it looks like.

I use a program called cab converter and after I convert it to OEM the folder is empy. I know it works cuz I've done it with many other cabs.

I don't see OEMizer in the kitchen tools... Just downloaded it... so much more to learn.


The one I want to cook in is your Plain Black cab. I've tried a few other pano cabs. It seems that your cabs don't work for some reason. When changing them to OEM, the folder is always empty. Other cabs work though. Any thoughts?

i made a panoramic manila cab(like gen y) into a EXT and then i added the manila for the panoramic i wanted into that EXT so it installs the panomanila as well as my bg at the same time.

When you say "added the manila" you mean the manila files that are in the GenY files folder after it's been converted to EXT? As in, just delete those and insert the ones from a cab. That sounds good except that the Plain Black cab shows empty after I convert it to OEM or EXT or OEM to EXT. There are no manila files to be found. After conversion it's an empty folder. I don't know where all the files go.

I think thats because of HDWall. I've noticed that any cab I make with it doesn't work with cab converter. You should be able to use a cab viewing program like WinCE to see the contents of the cab and extract it. I think Package Creator 5.4 works as well.

I just started using WinCE, so the newest cabs I've made will work with the cab converter just like Zombies.

For now here is an EXT of my Plain Black pano.
