Re: Titanium radar update app...version 1.5 now out!!!
I installed and tried it out last night on my Omnia and it is fantastic!!!! Sure it took a minute or so to get the GPS lock, but once I did, I can update any time from the previous lock info without waiting for GPS, and it is 100% easier than trying to input radar info the old way!!!! WOW!!!!! (the loop option is pretty cool as well!!!)

lwrdrchvy2....I just edited the first post to incluse a file named radarmerge. It helps merge the radar images into Titanium Weather. I did find I had to run the GPS app alone first to set it up (well....I don't know if it was needed, but it was easier). Give it a shot and see it it is easier for you.

yea, i had to run gps first (took 20 min to get a lock, darn Iowa ) and then after that the radar was perfect, but it didnt merge into titanium. but ill check out the file in the first post and see if that works...thanks

Re: Titanium radar update app...version 1.5 now out!!!
avs777 doesn't say specifically, but I think this app is meant as a stand-alone app that you need to create an individual panel for, but another user (climber 1872000) created the radarmerge app to have the radar images actually show in the main Titanium Weather panel. A little confusing at first, but it does work.
As far as the GPS goes, I know it takes a while, but for those of us that don't travel so much, once you get your 'home' location locked, you can just update the radar without GPS, so it is a really cool + easy way of inputing the radar into Titanium Weather!!! |
