change the titanium home screen date format?

not sure where to put this, im running nfsfans 6.5 rom and id like to change the date format under CCclock. it currently says: thursday, june 11, 2009. id like it to say 06/11/09. is there a way to do this or a registry setting? the reason i want to change it is the last two digits of the 2009 are cut off the screen!
