You'll have to be more specific. Which panel are you trying to add an icon to? If you used CHome Configurator to create a new panel and add pages, the included template allows you to select an icon for each page.

Wow. I figured it was just a matter of time. This looks pretty awsome! Thanks for all of your help Hafrust!

Im use CHome conf... to create new panel, why 2508;2508 , how do change that?

The 2508;2508 is referencing an image within a .dll file. I'm not sure exactly which dll because I've never messed with that. Possibly bronzeres.dll or cmhomeres.dll?

In your screenshot from CHome Configurator, the bottom field "Picure" is where that icon is chosen. Since it is not appearing correctly on your home screen, that indicates a modification needs to be made to your .cpr files. Which method did you use to create your panel, and I'll let you know exactly where to edit your .cpr files (using clinks, cwelcomecenter, or settings?). It will be a very easy fix.

new panel and clinks, but always is same issue

Re: CHome/Titanium Modifications - Adding Panels

If you are using a VGA device you'll need to edit your Titanium_480x640.cpr and Titanium_640x480.cpr files. You can edit them using regular windows notepad, xml notepad, or whatever else can edit xml. In both files, you need to go to the OperatorServicesExpanded section, and change the line where it reads <Image ID="Icon" to <Image ID="Image 1".

Edit: If you are using a QVGA device you'll need to edit your Titanium_240x320.cpr and Titanium_320x240.cpr files as described above.

No problem. Let us know if that doesn't work. Alternatively, if you install the latest version of Titanium Weather, you wouldn't need to edit your cpr files b/c it overwrites the existing files with updated ones--only if you are using VGA. I don't believe mnemonique's qvga version has that section modified.

Glad you got it working! As for changing the text panel, I don't think that one can currently be edited. That may change when showaco releases his new program.

What you need to do to re-enable it is go to CHome Configurator, select CLinks, tap menu>panel>customize. Then in the "Collapsed" field, type in whatever name you want to appear on the home screen for this panel. Once you exit and save, go to your registry at HKLM\software\microsoft\chome\extensibilityxml and add clinks to the list. Soft reset and it should be fine. If it still doesn't show up, follow the instructions I posted a few posts up in bold font about adding a new page in clinks and making sure the "collapsed" field has something in it.

Thanks ... I just redid this and your instruction was perfect. It now works. Thanks again.

So after a week of trying to edit different panels' GUID to see which ones I could customize... I tried almost every panel in chome config, really anoying, wish i would have followed thread more. Should have thought of the dummy panel idea for keeping track of GUIDs.

For those of you that are as brave/stupid as me, here are original cwelcome, clinks, and settings tab GUIDs.

Cwelcome- {9734B9B-5BB5-474d-98AA-E4CD2DD0A873}
Clinks- {C5A51777-B837-447d-8947-FAF3FF9D570B}
Settings- {1DE8DD6B-D74D-4d2e-A8C3-72439F2B8402}

at least i think those are default GUIDs.
P.S. I posted CPRs I edited to make a Bigger Clock on the Expanded Clock Panel. And my Background and matching S2A phoneskin.

Happy Moding...

It should be listed below all of the folders. Make sure you didn't go one step too far and go to hklm\software\microsoft\chome\chome instead of hklm\software\microsoft\chome.

Does anyone know what I should save as my text to display active tasks, high priority, due today, overdue in a panel? Or better yet, that plus the text to display the individual tasks themselves.

Thanks that helped out. But I ran into a small snag. I followed the instructions on how to use the welcome center panel. It works but I don't see the panel, unless i scroll over it. what could I have missed?

If it's invisible, then there's a problem with your cpr files. Are you using a VGA phone or QVGA?

Depending on what other panels you are using, and/or if you have installed the VGA cpr files from the first post, this should be an easy fix.

Hafrust can correct me if I'm wrong, but if you install Titanium Weather you will not need to use the VGA cpr files because they have already been modified. I actually reflashed to the new Mighty Rom, and started from scratch.

First I installed Titanium Weather, then Opera, Then a custom contacts panel. That order worked flawlessly for me.

Hafrust 04-21-2009 09:22 PM

Re: CHome/Titanium Modifications - Adding Panels

That's correct. You'll either need to copy the cpr files posted in post 2 or install Titanium Weather v3.

Same thing as this guy, and i have titanium weather installed already. Anybody want to tell me EXACTLY what i would have to do, like an error check to see what I might have done incrorrectly?

WOW this is annoying, somebody please assist. Been at this for an hour now and can't figure out why this POS isn't showing a collapsed page or any kind of preview, invisible until i scroll over it.

Re: CHome/Titanium Modifications - Adding Panels

Hello!

I have a problem with theme changing in Titanium.

Maybe all of you know that we can add custom menus to Titanium and change the order of menus with a custom Editor program called Chome Editor. It is a great app.

Okay, so my problem is that i made some more menus (Total Commander, Radio...) to the default Titanium menus (titanium stock).

The Editor program saved it all as cpr file.

When i install a new theme for wm 6.5 system i get back Titanium stock EXcluding my added more menushttp://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/frown.gif

I tried copy my saved cpr files (Which includes my changes of course) to the newest theme's cpr files (Overwritten) in Windows folder, but nothing happened. No matter i've overwitten, because the system can't "recognise" the changes my menu in Titanium stayed the newest theme's default.

When i uninstall this new theme and i choose a default theme, and copied my cpr files to Windows folder, then it works! I get back my changed custom menus!

Can anyone help me?

I hope it is clear for everyone what my problem ishttp://forum.xda-developers.com/imag...lies/smile.gif

Thx in advance!
