Re: colonels custom rom?

I really look forward to a colonel rom based on the new official release. I think the built in gps might be good enough for me to be able to sell my BT receiver and finally upgrade from colonel's old 12-28-07 rom, which has been absolutely amazing to use all this time! I don't want to use anyone else's roms after getting used to the colonel build!!! Bring on the new one!!!

Re: colonels custom rom?

Amen to that.

I have been running Colonel's ROM for months. I updated to the new stock ROM yesterday and miss his work already. I can't wait for the new one to come out!

Re: colonels custom rom?

yep... great roms.

A lil more free program mem would be ideal. I can't browse certain sites fully... Tried multiple browsers and not much difference.
Likely this has already been noticed, just it's killin' me right now.

Re: colonels custom rom?

I have been running Colonel's FEB28.exe ROM and love it! I just updated to the new 3.35 radio. Everything appears to still work, except for my sound. As soon as a call is made/received, all sound stops and it only vibrates even though the ringer is set to ring&vibrate mode. If I soft or hard reset it works again, but as soon as the phone is used, same problem again. I downgraded back to 3.27 radio which works fine with the ROM, except of course I am missing the benefits of the new radio.

Colonel, do you have a fix for this problem? I like this ROM too much to flash up to the official 3.35 ROM and until there is a kitchen........ ?

Help!
