After some inestimable amount of fiddling that mainly entailed repeating the flash properly, I find I didn't even need to reactivate, just do the initial programming with *228 option 1, and everything including data is working fine (incoming/outgoing calls/etc. too). Data is MUCH snappier than the stock radio i.e. pages load faster and the latency between when I tell it to load something and it actually does is unbelievably shorter. I'll be installing a GPS app soon
. Am I correct that the newer radio is typically faster with the addition of Rev. A EVDO on Verizon?
