use the ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Titan/Users/Im...tan_exitbl.rar on 1.2, it also works, had that problem when I had to go back to 1.2 to install the newest titan radio v 3.42.50 found here

Why are people using 1.2 it is so old and outdated. You should be using 2.4 or 2.47

Because only 1.2 will let you install the new titan radio 3.42.50 with a usb cable.

Why not install radios via sdcard method. it is so much easier

I second that. There is less risk of something going wrong, it is faster, and in the case of loading custom roms, I can test and flash new custom roms without being at a computer every time I flash. sdcard method is the way to go.

Ok, so let me add my bootloader issue to the mix... Flashed a ROM, phone worked great for a few days, and somewhere in the night, it reset itself to the boot loader screen. if i leave the SD card in, it will continue to loop and reload the Rom, if I take the card out, it will get to the bootlader screen. When i plug it in to my pc (xp sp3) it gives me the old "one or your usb devices has malfuntioned...yada yada) and i cannot run anything from the PC. Things i have tried;

re down loading all associated software, include async and htc drivers
flashing stock rom
12,000 hard resets and 2 million soft
swearing

Anyone?

Did you run the exit bootloader program?

Re: Stuck in TITAN bootloader? Read this!

Please help. I'm a noob, but I have been trying to solve this problem for a couple of days and have tried everything I understand in this thread. I have a verizon vx6800 that went crazy last week when I was in a remote area and it was constantly roaming. It went nuts and started calling people in my contacts list by itself and then finally got stuck in this bootloader / rainbow screen. It says:

TITA100
SPL-1.04.0000

and at the bottom its says "serial" which changes to "USB" when I connect to my computer. I have been trying to run the titan_extblr.exe program, but keep getting a "Cannot Open USB Port" error. I followed the directions to deactivate the three process in the task manager listed above. I tried the "disconnect activesync" program that someone posted early in this thread. I also went under file>connection setting in the active sync window and disabled all of the options. Nothing seems to work.

I have never flashed a rom, and don't know how. Is that something I need to try? Am I missing something else? Should I start looking for a new phone? I know you guys get tired of noobs asking these questions, but I am really trying here and I would be very greatful for any help.
