Windows 6.5 XV6800/Titan 28002

I guess it works fine for now, it just seems to me all the new models that are coming out are just a little smaller or different shapes, maybe a little more memory. I don't know if it's worth at this time to spend extra $$$ to get a new phone with very little extra features.

WM 7 is rumored to have iphone type features, muti-touch display etc. So when there is major upgrade on the feature end, then maybe it might be time to upgrade.

Still don't think it's dying, but, next time I call to get an insurance replacement on my phone (as I tend to need after 4-6 months it seems, something always goes wrong with them), if they give me a new model, then the titan will be dead for me... but, as I said, it does mostly everything I need for now, just wish it had a better gaming side to it, as I still have to bring my NDS with me on long trips (card type games only go so far)

Who's the new chef ? What rom are you talking about ? (and yes I alway give thanks to people who deserve them)

After installing this ROM, the ROM version on Settings--> Device Information says:
ROM: 3.08.666.1
Date: 06/16/08
Radio: 3.42.02

All this after having installed the Sprint ROM that installed ROM 3.56.651 and the GPS goodies. I do not see the GPS in Settings.

Am I doing something wrong? Is this ROM only for Verizon?

what happened? Your past 6.5 builds all included the finger friendly 6.5ui?
the menus are all back to the crappy wm6.
Did the 21812d have the same nasty retro look?
i still have 21806 can go back but if i can download 21812d please post link.

Thanks for an answer...and solution.

The only place you will see a setting for GPS in Settings is External GPS in Connections. GPS should work right off the bat with no adjustments.

Go under Setting - Today - Items and select Windows Decault if it isn't already checked.

like btonetbone said just select it from the menu. the 800 builds came with a retro look but everything still there.

I have a tweak I would like to make to qwertymemory.exe. Is there anyone who knows how to open this up or has the source code for it? I want to change it so that it considers 30 mb to be 100% since that is closer to the actual available amount on startup. Then when I look at the memory bar, it will be in the green till it drops closer to 15 mb.

This may not be an apppealing tweak to others, but I would like to do it for myself. Anyone out there that can point me in the right direction?

I agree. This would be a great tweak. It would be a lot easier to tell how fast the memory is leaking away.

I agree 100%, it makes a lot more sense to track usage of memory that is actually available than tracking what the OS is using as well. Unfortunately I will be of no help since I am a programming noob.

Is MMS disabled in these builds? I just tried to send one and there is no option in the menu.
