Windows 6.5 XV6800/Titan 28002

Hey everyone, first time custom rom flasher and first post.

First of all, I must thank all in the Titan community for keeping it alive and putting hours into making things easy for people like me! =D>

So here's the deal. I unlocked my xv6800 last night with Hard-SPL and flashed a new radio 3.42.50 from the 2.xx. I was coming from a completely stock wm 6.0 Verizon rom. I then flashed the phone via SD card with the 6.5 build 21806B. I then ran the Verizon carrier cab and all was well!

It was running with 20.x-21.x free ram after Oxios. I went to bed and charged the phone. Come this morning, it has been running incredibly slow with only 9.x-11.x free ram after Oxios. After a reset, it starts with the 20.x ram but eventually diminishes to around 9.x.

Any reason behind this? Something I'm missing? Would setting up the weather kill my ram? That's the only thing I did, otherwise everything is the same as when I flashed it.

Tplane is using the 4 row without the hex if this helps.
But yes start menu look can be changed without a flash.

The Start Menu can be changed back to the three columns and large icons by using the cab posted in this thread.

dont install the verizon carrier cab 21806 already comes with it
dont setup your weather ( to eliminate opstions)
run it on high memory
and report back

Weird, my internet didn't work until I installed the Verizon carrier cab. Is there a way to uninstall the carrier cab? Or won't it make a difference?

And how do I run it on high memory?

verizon carrier cab already installed. so it makes me think you got other issues going.

Would installing the vzw carrier cab on top of the other one hurt anything?

Low memory mode = 26.6 mb free at startup.

no it doesnt hurt anything.

26 is for high memory
around 20 for low memory

Well, I am back.

I've been running ol' DCD's stable 3.3.4 ROM for months and months. I thought I was all done with this whole flashing business.

But the itch to try something new has returned. I cant resist any longer.

6.5 ... here I come!
