Re: Windows 6.5 XV6800/Titan 23506

from what ive seen on these new roms, the only way to change the volume is by using the screen on the top taskbar. you might want to change your rom if you have to change the volume. otherwise, try using a registry editor and see if you can find the settings for volume (if there are any)

Re: Windows 6.5 XV6800/Titan 23506

interesting, i'd really love to use the wheel on the top left side of the phone as my volume, seeing how i never use it. I'll try to look into it if theres no other way.

Whopper, the xv6800 is discontinued, so Verizon won't be issuing any more updates for it at all. Only some current WM phones will get an official 6.5 upgrade, so your only option is to read, unlock, & flash.

How do you set the phone to vibrate or silent? or adjust the volume

The screen is broken so I just using the buttons and keyboard available, which has been sufficient until now.
Try using this app, set volume, i use it personally and have it assignes to a hardware button, works great for adjusting volume, changing to vibrate and even silent, extremely finger friendly!

Re: Windows 6.5 XV6800/Titan 23506

anyone notice that if you try to type in via keyboard the contact name you don't get the auto suggestion of phone book?

i'm going to assume it's the hardware that's the reason for the screen not keeping up to the speed of my typing. i noticed turning off word suggestion speeds it up a bit.
