Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

I like this ROM, but I'm not good at cooking and was wondering if anyone could hook me up with a few changes to it. It gets decent signal, but the radio is weaker than the stock ROM. Also, any ideas on how to make it lighter? My problem with running apps on the 6.1 was always that I didn't have enough free RAM.

Not sure about the radio, I am running 3.42.40 and had .50, never noticed a problem between signal from stock.

There is a tool to switch the rom to high memory mode (should be in the system control panel, kernel tool I think).

The problem with this is it will disable the camera, if you want to use it again, you need to change it back to low mem mode, and soft reset your phone.

It should free up a few extra meg of memory....

Also, close programs when you are done with them, as it will free up memory, in the top left hand corner there is the HTC task manager, click on it, then the wrench, button tab, then check "End programs by tapping X".

That should help...

or, do your homework and create your own rom, stripping out what you don't want...like I am doing now (the information is out there, you just gota search for it)

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

Thanks. Yea, I'm trying to do my homework on it but real homework keeps getting in the way. I'm trying to come up with one now, but my connection sucks so its taking days to download the Kitchen. Also, I noticed a problem that I was having with the stock 6.1 ROM too - when you close out of a program in the upper right hand corner (magic button?) it doesn't actually free up any mem.

Apparently you need to install the cab file associated with your service. I have had no luck trying to get it to work via multiple attempts on the Arcsoft MMS. If you have any luck, please let me know.

I'm on Alltel and can't verify this, but I believe people on Verizon have had success with this cab.

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

Do you want dcibattery meter? You can find it at freewarepocketpc.net. Might also be able to find it at XDA.

I've had luck with GC VZW Arcsoft MMS 5.0.70.24 - not sure where I got it from. I think off of XDA.
