Thumbs up Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

Hey Bsandkm, Great ROM looking forward to your continued exploration of what can be done with this end of life HTC LOL - Quik question, how come even when I download one of your Verizion ROMs I never have to add my carrier cab for Sprint and my call and Inet connection works great? Only thing I have to do is change my voicemail p#. You Rock and you need a donation link IMHO.

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

I am experiencing an unsusual phenomenom. I use Vito SMS Chat as my sms client. At the moment, every text i send gets received by the recipient, but it disappears off my sms chat program, so all i end up having is just the 'received messages" but no sent messages. It happens more often than not.

I looked in the advanced configuration under messaging but wasnt sure which option to enable/disable. Never had this issue previously on both 6.1 or 6.5 roms. Have uninstalled and reinstalled with the same result.

Can anyone offer a resolution to this issue?

Cheers

I checked and I realized that I flashed the wrong rom. I thanked everyone for their input. I flashed the correct rom and I see the option. But now for some reason my phone keeps freezing up. I think that its mostly during texting. I have to reset it to get it to work.

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

2 Questions.

1. Who is actually releasing the builds that you tweak? Microsoft? HTC? The carriers?
2. As much fun as it is to reflash on a new build with new chefs, is there a place that I can look to showing the differences between incremental builds? I can't really see much difference in the 6.5 builds other than in stability, memory utilization (and leaks), and speed - which much can be attributed to the chef rather than the core build (IMHO).

Thanks for all you do bbsandkm

1 yes both, not the carriers.
2 sometimes besides the date we cant even tell the changes however, the latest builds came with a better adobe, internet explorer, memory management and other stuff and, like you say, the chef has a lot to do with the end product.

feel free to flash any chef that makes stuff for your phone, you may find one that really makes things the way you like it and ...stick with it.

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

Do you have a clean version of your rom ? Looking for the default WM 6.5 features, no weather or fav people, default battery meeter and 3 row icons (no honeycomb)...

I love your rom but, don't like all the extras. Take no offence, just how I prefer it...

Use a tool like SKTools to help you disable it on the next startup, and then the files are delete-able. A strong program like Total Commander may also be able to remove it without disabling, but I haven't ever tried that.
