Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

I was about the build number. I'm using ppc kitchen to build my rom, but the option for 6.5 is 21501. Is the 21728 a new version or just a new build from the 21501 version.

Yes that is a titan. Still more info needed. Is it unlocked and with what bootloader? Also a couple pages back someone had similar problems and it was a corupt ruu folder. I posted one that works in post #322.
PM me with info and I will be glad to assist.' Don't want to turn this thread into a how to flash thread.

what bootloader? what radio? What you have done?
sometimes a pc reboot is needed also to reopen com port that is needed.

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

I just flashed to 21728 2 days ago and i have some questions:

Are there any registry hacks needed to get the GPS to work? My ROM version is 3.08.666.1, radio 3.42.40, spl 2.40.

Also, my comm manager worked until i reset it, and now when i press the button (right under the power button) i get ""error opening the shortcut, or locating the target filename". I copied wrlsmngr link to the Windows/Start Menu/Programs directory but it still gives the error.

On a more positive note: this ROM rocks! Keep up the good work! I am just not getting involved into PPC's, so please pardon my lack of knowledge.

You will need to do the QPST fix that is detailed in a sticky in the sticky thread in this forum:
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=36444

This is all I have done and get locks in 20-30 seconds. If you use AGPS (I don't) you can get locks in less than 10 seconds. I hope this helps.

Good luck.

Please click "Thanks" if I have helped you.

Re: Windows 6.5 Titan

I'm starting to think its a hardware issue now. I changed all the settings and it initializes the GPS but will not connect (even when a data connection is up.)

I'm going to reflash and see what happens.
