My Flashing Issues

I cooked a rom. Its a basic Rom... Using the newest stuff. Atleast the newest stuff visible to the naked eye on this forum. Selected Cricket for the network. Wow that didn't do anything but put a couple folders in the My Documents area with different PRL's.

So I'm following the How To on flashing it to Cricket. Wow I remember this stuff from when I had my 6700 years ago. However, ##778 does not work. My phone wants to call it. Its weird, cause I'm the first to flash this phone. It was on sprint so when I'd try to make a call it would give me the sprint error message. Now it gives me an alltel error message. What gives with that? Why not the Cricket error message lol. Why can't it be soo easy!?

Anyway. ##778 Send does not work. I do it, it says Calling and then gives me an error message from Alltel. Whats going on?

Question, is the Radio what has the service settings... which tells the phone to call alltel or cricket or whatever? Or is that just something else inside the phone that has to be manually done with the ##778 Send function.

Re: My Flashing Issues

Actually it wasn't. I had the stock Dialer at first. It works, Just not ##778Send. ##778# works flawless. My phone has to have the # Behind it and doesn't require Send to be pressed. I did a search on google and found a post on here about it. Someone else said to try that. So I did and BOOM! Done! My phone is fully flashed to Cricket using the newest kitchen!

Re: My Flashing Issues

Yeah thank god! I been going through sooo much trouble since I got this phone. Got it stuck in Bootloader with 1.20. Then got it out by burning a rom. But it would restart every few seconds. Fixed that with a Radio Rom.... Then the ##778Send issue.

Everyone should state the different codes phones use to enter PST.

Re: My Flashing Issues

Ahh, Maybe. Mine is a sprint phone flashed to Cricket.

Now My recent issue is building a rom thats not soo bulky. Built one with only minor things to make it look like the Touch with the Home Plugin... and the sucker runs sloppy. Dunno why. And the updater for BuildOS downloads the updates, but when I press Next to install the updates, it throws out an error saying it can't find the destination file or some crap.
